Why I hate talking Cosplay to non-cosplayers

Explaining to someone about why you like cosplay is just as hard as explaining why you like cars to someone who doesn't care about cars at all. I guess everybody just needs to respect everybody's hobbies instead of just running it down. I guess people who're not in the scene just generalise that only Japanese cosplayers are awesome because such photos are more commonly found all over the net as compared to very awesome cosplayers from other countries.
